Feasibility Study The feasibility study for the new Barcaldine community hall project was carried out on behalf of the management committee by Bruce & Neil Architects, Oban, in accordance with a brief drawn up by the committee. The report on the study was presented to the committee in late January 2007 by Ronnie Neil, and each committee member has a copy of the report which can be viewed by arrangement (see contact page). Alternatively, the full report including draft drawings of the proposed building along with with site plans etc. can be viewed on our downloads page. Open Meeting Wed. 28th March 7.30pm Sealife Centre A public meeting will be held to allow the whole community to view and discuss the feasibility study report from Bruce & Neil Architects. Ronnie Neil will present the findings of the study and there will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the best way forward. It is vital that as many of the community as possible attend! As part of the meeting, a vote will be taken on whether we as a community should proceed with the project, and if not, what is the best way to take the community association forward. Please come along and have your say. A postal voting form will be distributed to all households along with the latest newsletter to allow anyone unable to attend the meeting to have their vote counted. Please return completed forms in good time before the meeting. If you would like more information, or to view the complete feasibility study report before submitting your postal vote or attending the meeting, please contact one of the committee.
